Chapter 5: Rejection
![]() |
It felt like a sharp sword
Was passing through his skin,
Piercing through the membranes,
The hurt had made its way in him.
Torn skin could be stitched back
Self-inflicted scars were a proof of it
How would a pierced heart... beat again...
When the sword... had sliced it clean?
She was here, there, everywhere
In every face he found her... neat and clean
Like teeth of a wild beast feasting on a carcass...
All of her faces bit him deep within...
One experience he always desired,
The lack of which was now killing him...
He was one man, looking for one woman
But found acceptance from the dead and rejection from all things living...
Is it the cyclic curse
Of his bitter causes and their effects ill?
For all the rejections he had caused,
Their effects were the leeches eating the soul out of him...
Will he be ever forgiven...?
Will he find her, her lips, and her lips to kiss?
He is a scarred, scary wild beast today,
And Beasts are not known to be favorites of the angel he seeks...
He now gets it,
all the hurts he had caused were now here to get him...
He hopes, he prays, he cries, he weeps,
He fights, he shouts, he dances wild, and he screams...
He hits hard, punching all air around him...
Rejection was making him bitter...
Depriving the world of all the rare good he once had within.
It's a choice, a tough one,
The one he would never even think
For him it was either life or ladki,
But no pleasure in between.
Unwilling to give up on love,
Passion, desire and dreams...
The eye-to-eye dives,
Exotic experiences with a feminine...
He continues to walk down his boulevard,
Bearing scars deep,
From the whips of the rejections
And their razor-sharp swords piercing their way in... him.
